New polyprop filler primer from Metalux 2

Eliminating the recoating window period for plastic primers.


ChemSpec is proud to announce the launch of a dynamic new Polyprop Filler Primer that will change the way you look at plastic primers. Ordinary polyprop primers are an adhesion promoter for plastic surfaces. However, the problem many spray painters have with this type of product is that they have a window period in which the surface has to be recoated with a normal Filler Primer before being sprayed with either 2K enamel or a basecoat after 10 minutes but within 45 minutes.


The new Metalux 2 Polyprop Filler Primer excels here as it has been designed to eliminate the 45 minute window period giving the spray painter more leeway in the workshop. The new Polyprop Filler Primer performs similarly to conventional primers and allows either wet-on-wet overcoating or overcoating after air-dry or oven curing. It is also easy to sand once dry, but this is seldomly necessary due to the exceptional sprayability.


The product offers excellent filling meaning that no additional priming is necessary, thereby also saving you time.
